Blessings of Love

This box shrine carries my intention of bringing love. To assist with this process, I have used many feng shui symbols of love, including a beautiful carved Kuan Yin as a central figure.

My research of feng shui has had a profound effect on me. I am cleaning my home of extraneous "stuff" (No, NOT my studio!), and changing whatever I can to be more harmonious with feng shui principles. It seems to be working!

That is just lovely and peaceful, which I wouldn't have expected from something with that much red.

Chaska, your work is inspiring.

As always, Chaska, beautiful work. My sister is a practitioner of feng shui...her current home though, lacks the symbols...she must have cleansed her home of them too!! LOL She's not one to hold on to things and I, on the other hand, don't throw anything away, hence, what I call, organized chaos.

A friend called me today and asked if I still had our art history notes from our undergrad days, which for me wasn't too long ago...early 2000's. She's now a professor and needed them for her art appreciation class...I told her, much to my husband's chagrin, I still had all my notebooks from those courses....she's coming in a bit to pick them up, so I' will temporarily clear them out!! I doubt that counts, though. LOL

Again, lovely work and I wish I could afford you, lady...I would pick that up for my sis in a heart beat...she'd love it.

xxoo,
Georgina

Thanks for your comments, Anne and Georgina! Anne, yes, it is strange but there are pink elements which don't show up well in the photos. I like to think that both intent and the very placement of the various elements determine the feeling of peace.

Georgina, as always, I love your detailed writing. One of the feng shui principles is to have NOTHING in the house that you don't use or that you love. My issue with paring down is I love everything!LOL However, I have taken out some things, and brought in new in energetically appropriate colors. Unfortunately, my packrat daughter lives in CA. By the way this shrine box is sold. It is one of three ordered by a feng shui practitioner.
