I Love Austin!
Yes, of course, I miss everyone I left behind in California, as well as my old haunts....but, this has turned out to be a good move. I am almost done with what I like to think of as my "big work"...the inside of my house, and am once again happily creating new work. Actually, the work is creating itself...as it should be.
People here are friendly and open. I must have been terribly out of sorts in the beginning. I have not had any more "weird" things with men who treated me as though I was invisible, either. As
Anais Nin said, "We don't see things as they are. We see things
as we are." This inspired a new shrine doll which I named "Illusion".
