I believe that Chihuly's glass sculpture would be inspirational no matter where one saw it. Seeing his glass "planted" at the St. Louis Botanical Gardens, however, was one of those big goose-bump experiences that I will never forget.

These are his onion forms which float freely among the real lily pads, making an ever changing composition.

It was raining when Dorothy and I were there, so
there is no sun on the onions....showing the glass in its full glory of saturated color. It was a
magical experience.
