Yesterday's Memories

Just finished is this intricate 8 x 12 assemblage built into a wood cabinet with glass door. The exterior is an antiqued dark brown.

That is very cool indeed!

My Elder Daughter would call it a Cabinet of Curiosities, which is what she's been constructing in her bedroom. I must show her the photo.

Anne Davis, having trouble posting comments lately but enjoying your blog no end

I'm not at all sure the name as jelled, yet. I've also called "Relics of Time", and "Memory's Relics". It's not strange enough to be a cabinet of curiosities, although that was exactly my original intent, before I fell in love with the lush, deep red interior and just had to make it more about nostalgia/romance.

This is a walk through memories and visual elements... looking at it is like taking a mini-vacation. Love it!
