Buddha Cat

I created this Cat Buddha shine box for my daughter Christmas 2017.  My motivation was the thought that she was the only family member or close friend who did not have any art that I had done. What if I died?  She loves cats, and though not Buddhist, does try to follow Buddhist teachings.  After my 4 year hiatus from art, I think I left her astonished.  She said she loved the red color.  :) 

It left me astonished, as well, but not because I loved the red color.  I actually loved this piece, and it virtually created itself.  My passion for art is back!
