Eye Candy & Shopping Frenzy
NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S QUILT!
I'm off to Houston for three days at the International Quilt Festival. People come to this from as far away as Australia and South Africa.
On exhibit will be acres of the most incredible quilts....Just look at these few examples from last year's exhibit! These are works of art which happen to be painted with fabric.
There will also be acres of vendors, yes, lots of fabric, but also all kinds of interesting mixed media "dodads".....definitely a shopping extravaganza.

I am bursting with excitement for you! Imagine all the stimuli ... colors ...shapes ... the grand assortment of creative creatures gathered in this one spot on earth at this particular moment!! Overwhelming .. but fun! Can't wait to hear ur thoughts .....
